You may have to sift through lots of bullshit to get to the good stuff these days, but there are some brilliant shows around. My personal favorite shows still on the air are Parks And Recreation, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia (though I felt the last season was pretty weak).
I have been wearing out Flight Of The Conchords lately. I seriously have watched the complete series maybe five times in a row. Maybe I should stop...

Everyone should be watching Mad Men and Breaking Bad. AMC knows what's up hard.

Shameless. United States of Tara. Dexter. Arrested Development. Through the Wormhole. Ace of Cakes.
I'm pretty much stuck in this loop.

I barely watched Sunny this last season, always missed it, thankfully I did find a little something to keep me and my TV busy, I feel in love with Bored to Death on HBO. It's a great show, smart writing, witty plus I get to see some of the best parts of Brooklyn ( a great bonus). I can't wait till season two is released on DVD.

I totally heart this kid. American Idol be damned, he's gonna sign a deal no matter what and I can't wait to buy his albums.

I finally got hold of the 4th season of The IT Crowd. God, it cracks me up. I highly recommend checking it out. I know seasons 1-3 are available on Netflixs on demand.
This is the most well known bit..

This makes me miss Coupling so much. YES! Coupling was awesome! I think The IT Crowd's strength is it's loose format. Outside of the basic( but strong and well done) character development, every episode is free to go wherever the writers want to take it. It's sorta like the Simpsons, where they fit archetypes and the brilliance is how they craft episodes around that. Plus, you have Richard Ayoade and Matt Berry who have done tons of brilliant work on their own and together. Matt Berry is retarded funny... Richard Ayoade's video for Vampire Weekend. Yep, I didn't link the SFAs one. Edit: Me no spell good.

That's right, I'm still posting American Idol videos. Fucking shoot me. The actual song is at 50-2 minutes. Also, Shameless is sucking me in deeper and I just found out Ace of Cakes is done for

I'm ashamed to admit this, but I just saw Squidbillies for the first time tonight. What demented, awkward fun.

Shout out to Cheeky! ;D
MST3K is one of the only shows of the 90's that I still love. This is from one of Cheeky and I's favorite episodes. It' kind of hard to understand the humor if you've never watched. God, it's brilliant.
I could post so many funny clips from this show but...

I saw the guy who does Early's voice in concert for my birthday a couple of years back, great guitarist and amazing character Unknown Hinson. It's like George Jones the Psychotic Vampire.

Yeah, but I preferred Frisky Dingo and Sealab 2021 to it. Still, good show.

Sry to double post, but MST3K is certainly my favorite TV show of all time. I have half of the episodes on my computer... my personal favorites are "Manos: Hands of Fate", "Mitchel", "Eegah!", and probably "Laserblast".

I would add Santa Claus Vs the Martians, The Day the Earth Froze, Cave Dwellers and Fugitive Alien II. I've got a special place in my heart for Warrior of the Lost World because I actually liked that movie as a kid. I thought the cover was awesome!

I was going to link you the "MegaWeapon" scene but it's better if you watch from the start and get the callback humor.

I really need to get cable again. I wouldn't even bother with cable. You can get almost everything worth watching on netflix on demand. Then you'd just need to use your mail rentals for the newest seasons.

I know. I've saved us so much money by getting rid of cable. I just miss being able to veg infron of the TV for awhile. I need to take a look at what all is available from netflix. My wife handles the que and lets just say we don't see eye to eye on alot of things tv/movie related.
