In like Flynn for the Madlib/Washed Out show. My girlfriend, Amy, and I will definitely be in attendance as long as we can score tickets when they go on sale. Can't fucking wait.
We'll also be going to Moogfest again this year. Here's to hoping they score Portishead or (heavens help us) Daft Punk. <3 Asheville.

No way I'll be able to make the Madlib show, but there's a chance I make it down to Moogfest depending on my job situation in October.

Dude, do it. Moogfest is a perfect set-up because you get to explore Asheville (one of the most beautiful, coolest mountain towns in the country) during the day and then go to all the shows starting at 6. Even if you wake up at noon or 1, it's the perfect amount of time to grab lunch and a few beers somewhere (lots of great restaurants and bars in Asheville) and then head to the shows. Plus, everything is within five minutes of each other; makes exploring Asheville a lot easier.
Not to mention that, other than The Orange Peel shows, you won't have any trouble jumping around from show to show. Even the most packed shows last year (probably Massive Attack and MGMT) were not at capacity. I got to Massive Attack 10-15 minutes before the show after having my mind blown by Jonsi and was able to get up by the rail. No joke. I can't really imagine a festival running any smoother logistically.
If there are any backdraws, it's that security is SUPER tight all weekend for some reason (ask Airline) and if there are any Orange Peel shows you want to go to, you have to get there at least a half hour early. I know several people that got frozen out of Four Tet, who was fucking amazing.

This and Zapp's piece on last year that was just phenomenal. Woooooot!!! It's gonna be a good year, y'all ;D

Asheville is awesome. Its only right that it gets to host a great, downtown music festival.

Decided today to go on any pick up tickets to Atmosphere the night before. Pretty excited. I was also informed that I COULD go to Moog, provided of course I am home in time for my annual matrimony duties.
Woot. I just got wicked excited.
Now I just gotta book my hotel.
