That James Blake song has the greatest name. I'm still on a Spanish kick lately. Here's Rebekah del Rio covering Roy Orbison in Mulholland Drive. Jesus, it's awesome! esta de lo mas bueno, I hadn't heard that song before I really enjoyed it. What other Spanish songs have you been listening to? I'm into international music

I'm into international music To be honest, I'm behind on international music. I've mostly been listening to older stuff like Soda Estero, Los Aterciopelados, Mana, Carlos Vivas, Chichi Peralta, etc. Perhaps a World Music tread would be cool??? This is a great Latin MTV Unplugged performance by Mana. I love the lyrics. They remind me of Garcia-Marquez's magical realism. God, I love this song. I guess I've got more redneck in me then I want to admit.

I was never a fan of GWAR but I'll always love this song. Think what you will about it's merits. It introduced me to extreme satire. I was such a good little Baptist kid and I felt so bad for laughing at this.
It's interesting looking back at this, now that this kind of humor is much more common.

Benjamin Biolay's Padam off of La Superb. Simply put: I'll never get tired of this song. It's a great introduction to the rest of his music.
