It's an amzing line up for them. Pillow Wand and Syl Johnson made me want to cry a bit. Seriously.
Unfortunatly I can't come. If it was July or August I might have been able to swing it but not June.

It's going to kill me budget wise but I'm going. It would have helped If they would've had it in August again. I'm guessing the new Album drops before an early fall tour. Who knows?

He's 75 now. Seriously. I'm in absolute shock that he is on that line up.
I've posted this elsewhere but it bears repeating. Love this man. I'm in constant debate as to who was the king of soul. Solomon Burke, James Carr, or Syl Johnson.

HOLY GOD!!! That is awesome! That's why I love you guys! I'm more of a movie person, so I love when you drop gems on me.
I know that J.C. Brooks and the Uptown Sound has been his backing band in the past. I'm pretty sure they will be this time again.
Oops. Didn't even think about The Sweet Devines. J.C. will tear the roof off the place though.
