don't hate me, noD taken from the infobury message boards... "Is everybody in? The incident is about to begin...it will start precisely on 6:30 and fold four ticks later. All will be cloudy for a couple of weeks followed by the clarity of the ides of march." also, i was told not to put too much stock in the word "incident". so i'm hoping that means this isn't just "cheesebury".

Greensky Bluegrass looks to be a lock. They had the dates up on their site, and then took them down about 4hrs later, but i've seen a screen shot.

So am I correct in reading this the dates are 6/30-7/3 and something happens March 15th?

thats what i'm thinking. with the word incident i have to assume SCI is headlining, but it's not a Cheesebury situation. Winter Carnival ends March 12, which would fit with a March 15th release date to announce they're playing Roth.

So is the Electric Forest going to replace Roth or just be held on the same grounds...?

So is the Electric Forest going to replace Roth or just be held on the same grounds...? not exactly sure. for this year specifically, it will not be CALLED Rothbury(except by those of us who have already been) because AEG owns the name and is no longer involved. their new backer is Insomniac(or at least one of them) who have some really sweet connections, and truly know how to form a phenomenal late night experience. however, Greensky Bluegrass is already confirmed, which means there is definitely a non-electro side of things. i'm thinking it will be a little more like waka/all good with a bluegrass/jam fest by day and electro wonderment by night.

Thoughts? I'm pretty meh on it. There are a few awesome bands on there I'd love to see: Railroad Earth, Karl Denson, Lettuce, Toubab Krewe, Euforquestra. The electronic doesn't really do much for me though.

I don't think it's all that bad... extremely lackluster for a triumphant return, but it could be worse.
...Oh wait, Saturday Afternoon Special with REO Speedwagon...nevermind, that is worse.
I'm still unclear, is this Cheesebury, Rothbury, or Electric Forrest?

I can't say this is horrible, just for me. There is a few things I wanna see there but I don't think it's bang for your buck sort-of-thing.
If it were like $150 as opposed to $250 it might look more appealing.
